Acts 2: Share - A Life Group Project
At our Community Weekend Service, a member of one of our Life Groups shared about a project their group has taken on as a result of their study.
The Life Group meeting on Zimmaro Avenue has recently completed a Q Study called Being Countercultural: Restoring Our Identity in a Changing Society (http://navresources.ca/product_details.php?item_id=4609). The discussions have centred on the relationship between Christians and culture at large. At the conclusion of the study, the goal is to undertake a project in keeping with the gifting of the group members.
During May and June, the group decided to make a commitment to a project that they are calling Acts 2: Share.
It is the group’s desire to meet the needs of those in our congregation by offering a variety of skills and services as time and expertise allow. With that in mind, the group invites you to look at the Acts 2: Share notice board at the back of the church. You can be a participant either by posting a need or a service. In this small way we hope to take action for the benefit of the common good.
We hope that many in our church family will get connected with Acts 2: Share and make this a great part of our church family blessing and supporting one another in life!
