This past Sunday night, February 12, we had our 2012 AGM to look back over 2011 and see some of the highlights of what God has been doing in our midst. Some of the highlights from the evening were:
  • Taking some time to eat together before beginning our meeting. Thanks so much to everyone who brought appies to share!!
  • Looking back over our financial statements for 2011. It is amazing to see that in the midst of fundraising essentially for 2 missions teams we finished strong with our giving to church ministries and other missions as well.
  • Considerations regarding our 2012 budget. There are some exciting pieces included with our missions team coming online, the redevelopment of our website, and continued investment in leaders and volunteers at Lakewood. We look forward to a great year of ministry together.
  • Updates on the Building Project and Tamani Orphanage.
Thanks to everyone who came out and participated in making this a great night and a chance to work together toward to the goals that God has called us to.
